Using Capture dry cleaning products will not destroy any soil-resist or stain-resist treatments on your carpets. However, regular foot traffic can degrade some soil-resisting treatments, so it's recommended to reapply these treatments every two to three carpet cleanings if the carpet is cleaned regularly. For carpets that are not professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months, a stain-resistant treatment may be required after each cleaning.

Capture's carpet care products do not contain any chemicals that can remove color from carpets or rugs. The tighter construction of berber may require a little extra PreMist to enhance the Capture powder's performance.
